We are very fortunate in the Triangle area to have a wonderful art community that is very generous with their time and talent. One of the organizations that is benefiting from this generosity is the Genesis Home, a non-profit  organization that works to end homelessness for families with children and young adults by providing housing and supportive services to foster independence.

Hosted by Just a Few Friends, the Eighth Annual MOMart show and sale will take place On April 30th, May 1st and 2nd, in downtown Durham. The three day event begins with a preview party with hors d’oeuvres and desserts donated by local restaurants, wine, beer and beverages, entertainment, and of course, a chance to be the first to view and shop for the beautiful artwork, crafts and jewelry from over 50 local artists. Tickets are just $20 per adult, $10 12-17 years old and free under 12.

The Art Show is free to the public on Saturday from 9:00am to 4:00pm and Sunday from noon to 4:00pm at 300 Fuller Street (at the Intersection of Fuller & Fenway across from Tosca) in Durham.
