Monster Kitten Adoption

Did you stand in line for hours on the Fourth of July weekend in hopes of bringing home a new dog or cat from the Wake County SPCA? I have to admit that while I didn’t wait 2 hours in line I did stop by and the event and saw dozens of people waiting for their chance to take home some furry love. According to the SPCA of Wake County newsletter 148 animals found a home that weekend. Now that the shelter has a No-Kill policy there are many more animals needing homes. This weekend its the kittens turn.

Stop by the shelter on Saturday, August 28th for the Monster Kitten Adoption Event. From 11am to 6pm all kittens and adult cats are adoptable for just $47.50 – half  the usual fee. The fee includes spay /neuter surgery, vaccines, deworming and a microchip. There are over 120 cats and kittens available for adoption.

If you are not in a position to adopt there are still ways to aid the shelter in their important mission. Shop online for your back to school needs and various merchants will donate a percentage of their sales to the SPCA of Wake County. Click here for more information.
